Long Live Mex-Mex
The Long Live Mex-Mex issue from D Magazine centers around the exploration of Tex-Mex food taking a traditional route exploring Mexican roots from flavors, techniques, encompassing the world of Mex-Mex. The visual identity needed to align cohesively with the March issue while also accurately depicts the tone and history of Mexican roots.
Taking a look into the issue and inspired by lettering of "Abraham Lule" creating a typographic lock-up that was balanced by singular illustrations of different food ingredients commonly used in Mexican flavors. This combined with a bold color palette was executed well to be created amongst all different media platforms for social, event hosting site, signage, and more!
